Speech And Language Therapy:
Our speech therapy staff at Mariposa come from diverse clinical backgrounds and experiences. We strive to assign therapists that are well suited to each individual client’s needs. Speech therapy is provided in either our Tempe clinic setting or at a client’s home with a certified speech-language therapist. Families are always encouraged to be an active part of our therapy sessions in order to best carryover activities and skills outside of the therapy sessions.

Mariposa offers evaluations and treatment specializing in developmental, neuromuscular, and orthopedic physical therapy. Our team of physical therapists is dedicated to providing customized one-on-one care. We help children and adults build strength, mitigate pain, improve motor function, balance, and coordination to enable them to participate in desired age appropriate family and community activities. Feeding & Picky Eaters:
Mariposa provides individual and group feeding therapy for children of all ages. We teach feeding by making it fun, not stressful and work to expand the child's food repertoire. Here's what we do and how we do it:

Mariposa is excited to announce that we will offer a variety of speech and language summer camps. Camps will be designed and supervised by Speech-Language Pathologists.These camps are intended to enhance and enrich speech, language, and social communication skills through fun and engaging activities.
Our occupational therapy staff at Mariposa come from diverse clinical backgrounds and experiences. When a therapist is assigned to your family we base that referral on the need of your child and the experience of the treating therapist in that area of need. Occupational therapy is provided in either in our Tempe clinic setting or at a clients’ home with a certified occupational therapist. Families are always encouraged to be an active part of our therapy sessions in order to best carryover activities and skills outside of the therapy sessions.

School Age Services:
Mariposa therapists are experts at connecting with school-aged children. Together with the family and school team, our therapists work to identify and target academic and social areas of need, empower students with self-advocacy skills, and build confidence leading to success in all areas of life. Our range of therapy services for school-age children, adolescents, and young adults are provided in either our Tempe clinic setting or in your home with a certified professional. Additionally, our adolescent and young adult clients are a critical part of the team. Our therapists work directly with them to identify strengths, weaknesses, and top goals. Social skills group sessions are offered to facilitate carryover of activities and skills.
